Lyophilization reduces the pressure of frozen samples to below the triple point of water, which makes the solid ice to vapor, that is a drying type by sublimation minimizes changes in the contents of sample and with such advantage in the storage, the long-term preservation of the sample is possible.

Besides such general samples, our lyophilizer is the all-in-one product that can complete the lyophilization one time by pre-freezing the special chemical samples having very low freezing point in the cold trap using powerful freezing capability of the cold trap under -120℃ of LYCF series lyophilizer without separate cryogenic refrigerator or concentration process.

Considerations when selecting lyophilizer

• 01 Determine the ice collecting unit(cold trap) temperature by the freezing point of sample to be dried or solvent to be included.
• 02 Determine the ice collecting unit(cold trap) capacity considering the amount and moisture content of the sample to be dried at one time.
• 03 Identification of sample characteristics – if the sample dried can be exposed to the ambient temperature or air pressure.
• 04 Select the type drying considering the next processing stage after drying
